Privacy Policy

When you visit Myologie on our website, in our consultation room or invite us into your home, we want to maintain a high level of trust and confidence. Our business is built on the relationships with our clients and we have complete respect for you and your personal data. We strive to individualise our services to each client, to provide you with a safe and beneficial experience, and sometimes that means that we may need to hold some personal data about you. Below you will find information on how we use that data, protect your privacy and keep your details safe and secure.

Collecting and Holding Information

We collect information from you during our consultation process and during subsequent treatments. We may also record information that you provide us via telephone, email, SMS or social media platforms such as Facebook. This data is recorded on our consultation forms and in our secure customer database. We may collect personal information including your name, date of birth, and contact information such as address and telephone number. We will also keep a record of your emergency contact and records of your appointments. Due to the nature of our work, we also hold medical details such as allergies and illnesses which impact on your treatments.

Visiting our Website

When you visit www.myologie.co.uk we use Google Analytics to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this so that we can understand how our visitors are using the website and make improvements. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

Email Newsletter and Marketing

When you complete a consultation form, we ask whether you would be happy to receive marketing information from us. This is one of the ways that we use to communicate offers and new services. We will only contact you with promotional messages if you opt in.

We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our marketing emails and gather statistics around email opening and clicks using the usual industry technologies to help us monitor and improve our messages. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. If you decide you no longer want to receive emails from us, you are able to unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of our emails or by contacting us directly.

Links to Other Websites

We may provide links on this website or in other materials to external websites. This privacy policy does not cover those sites and you will need to check that site’s own privacy statement.

Access to Your Personal Information

You are entitled to access the personal information that we hold on you. To request this information, contact Jenny Bradley. If you have any issues with how we are processing your data, you have the right to make a complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We review this policy on a regular basis and whenever we make a change to the way we do things that has an impact on your personal information.
